Flu Hub
Flu Hub is a centralized website dedicated to cross-NIAID networks, programs, and resources supporting the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Universal Influenza Vaccine Strategic Plan. Flu Hub provides an overview of the research areas each initiative fulfills and the science conducted throughout. Our repository of influenza research resources highlights research facilities, preclinical services, clinical resources, reagents, datasets, and bioinformatics tools available. By connecting researchers to cross-cutting information, the Flu Hub site ensures optimal distribution of knowledge and tools among the scientific community to advance influenza research.
NIAID Resources for Scientists
NIAID funds a variety of programs that provide resources to influenza researchers to achieve the Universal Influenza Vaccine Strategic Plan objectives. These resources are readily available to all researchers and are accessible below. The resources cited are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.
Clinical Resources
Resources to support the implementation of Phase 1 through Phase 4 clinical trials
Computational Resources
Resources to access computational centers, and bioinformatics tools
Preclinical Services
Resources to advance infectious disease models and development of vaccines
Databases & Analytics
Analytical resources, data management services, and knowledgebases
GitHub Resources
Coding resources, data visualization programs, and software tools
Reagents
Viral strains, plasmids, proteins, antibodies, cells and other reagents
Research Facilities
Integrated research facilities and vaccine research centers
NIAID Networks
NIAID influenza networks are programs that advance the objectives of the Universal Influenza Vaccine Strategic Plan. The networks are independent yet collaborative in their work to further scientific discovery related to the three research areas.
