Clinical Biospecimen Repository

The Clinical Biospecimen Repository is a centralized collection of influenza-related biological samples resulting from NIAID-funded studies available for secondary research. Explore the catalog to identify samples of interest. There are no fees associated with browsing or requesting biospecimens. All sample requests will go through the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (DMID) for approval. This process ensures that the samples will be used for appropriate research and that the intended use aligns with ethical and scientific standards. After DMID approval, the corresponding researcher will be contacted to coordinate the shipment of the samples. The cost of shipment is the responsibility of the requestor.
